ABA AND FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION TO WORK TOGETHER
Indianapolis, IN.
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it will work to help bring greater awareness to Fisher House Foundation.
“Fisher House Foundation is a special organization, " stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. "Since 1990, they have been impacting military families around the world, having served 400,000 military and veteran families in need by providing free lodging and over $500 million in savings. On any given night up to 1200 families can stay at a Fisher House. I'm not sure how many people are really aware of the huge impact Fisher House Foundation makes."
"Fisher House Foundation thanks the ABA for their efforts spreading the word about Fisher House," said Dave Coker, President of Fisher House Foundation. "The ABA understands the importance of keeping military and veteran families together during a medical crisis and we are grateful for their support."
