ABA ADDS ALL SPORTS TELEVISION TO ABA TV NETWORK PLATFORM
Indianapolis, IN. 
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added All Sports Television Network (www.astnetwork.net) to its growing platform of carriers for the ABA Television Network which debuts in January.  "We are very excited about this relationship," stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  "AST recently entered into a multi-year agreement with Verizon Business Services which will provide the network with high-speed internet services to deliver a high-definition linear television broadcast signal to its affiliates throughout the US as well as Asia, Europe and other regions of the world."
The All Sports Television Network is a national sports network which will be available on over-the-air television when it debuts in September and expects to initially reach 40 million households.  AST will feature not only an ABA Game of the Week when the season begins, but will feature national and international sporting events, including football, baseball, basketball, tennis, softball, soccer, swimming, wrestling an volleyball as well as sports-related movies and talk shows.
"We are very pleased to be a part of the ABA TV Network," added AST President Roger Neal Smith.  "The ABA games are very fast-paced and exciting and fun to watch and we believe the games will add much to the tremendous schedule of outstanding sporting events and shows that we will be providing.
