ABA FINAL EIGHT DETERMINED WITH WEEKEND’S GAMES
Indianapolis, IN.
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced the teams that will compete in the Final Eight to be held in St. Louis, MO starting Thursday, April 15th following a weekend of playin games that determined the
final three teams.
In the Pacific Division, the Silicon Valley Panthers defeated the Las Vegas Royals 111-102 in the semi finals; the Soutwest Desert Cats over the Chula Vista Suns 134-118 in the other semi-final. In the title game, the Silicon Valley Panthers
won 106-95 to advance.
In the NE/Mid-Atlantic Division, the Steel City Yellow Jackets defeated the Binghamton Bulldogs 134-130 to advance.
In the Southeast Division, the Atlanta Storm over he Tampa Bay Fury 132-129 in the semi-final before losing to the North Alabama War Dawgs 132-101 in the Final.
The Seedings for the Final Eight will be:
1. Jacksonville Giants
2. Chicago Fury
3. North Alabama War Dawgs
4. Steel City Yellow Jackets
5. Team Trouble
6. Indiana Lyons
7.. St. Louis Spirits
8. Silicone Valley Panthers
