CLERMONT CRUSADERS LATEST ABA EXPANSION TEAM SET TO PLAY IN NOVEMBER
Indianapolis, IN.
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Clermont Crusaders located in Clermont FL are the latest team to join the league during its record-setting expansion.  “The two brothers, Daniel and David Luna, both played basketball overseas in Spain following four years of college basketball,” and are now ready to make their mark as team owners,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “And with their brother Maxi, who has experience coaching at the pro-level and college level, they have the foundation of a great organization.”
The brothers are originally from California who moved to Florida 3 years ago.  “We love the idea of helping guys who haven’t had an easy life to be able to use the gifts God has given them to make a better life for themselves and their families,” added Daniel Luna.  “We’ve travelled a lot and feel we have a finger on the pulse of basketball around the world and can bring different styles of play into the team and the ABA. We plan to hit the ground running and are excited about the opportunity.”
