Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced it has added the Solano County Stallions, located in Suisun City, CA to its lineup of teams that will begin play in 2019. “Our Far West Region continues to grow at a very rapid pace,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. “And this team is another great addition.”
The team is owned by Andre T. Chilton, CEO/Founder of NoTime2Chill Skills Academy located in Suisun City. Andre is a 22-year military veteran who will hold the position of President of Basketball Operations. He has an extensive basketball career ranging from college to the Air Force and was previously the Asst. Coach at Cal Maritime Academy in Vallejo CA. “Our mission is to create and foster the highest quality basketball program in the Solano County area,” added Chilton. “And to provide a platform for professional basketball development for local talent to reach their maximum potential while giving back to the community.”
Jonathan Smith has been named VP of Basketball Operations. A graduate of the University of San Francisco with a Masters in Sports Management, Smith has held several high school assistant coaching positions.
