Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has expanded ABA Opening Night Fundraisers to include those people who were affected by Hurricane Irma in Florida. Originally designed to help those in Southeast Texas hit by Hurricane Harvey, teyh ABA will now use its opening night games to help raise funds to buy gift certificates from leading retailers like Home Depot, Lowes, CVS, Walgreens, Target, Walmart and others to be distributed by various not-for-profit organizations in Florida and Texas. Proceeds from ticket sales as well as other local promotions will provide much needed funds.
