ABA ADDS SALINAS KS TO 2016 EXPANSION

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added a team in Salinas KS to its record-setting expansion for the 2016-2017 season. “We are genuinely excited about having Scott and Lauren Gardner as owners,” stated Joe Newman, ABA Co-founder. “They both bring a wealth of business knowledge and sports acumen to this new endeavor.”

Both Scott and Lauren played for the University of Northern Iowa (Football, Volleyball) and received their undergraduate degrees there. Scott went on to receive two Masters degrees in business and health care from Kansas Wesleyan University.

“The vision of our team is to help guide young men to be better men, husbands, fathers and players,” added Gardner. “The goal of our organization is to make a positive impact in the community and provide a quality team that everyone in the ABA and community can be proud of for years to come.”
