week ending Sunday, January 17th and for the second straight week the North Alabama War Dawgs
led the way followed closely by three undefeated teams, the Las Vegas Royals, Southwest Desert Cats
and Indiana Lyons. “With only 70 of our 180+ teams playing due to Covid-19, the competition is
pretty intense,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “I think the battle for number one will go down to the
wire this year, especially with the defending ABA Champion Jacksonville Giants starting their schedule
over the weekend with a win.”
