Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the league will be returning to Worcester MA
for the 2021-2022 season starting in November, 2022. “We are very pleased to be returning to Worcester with a brand new team
under the ownership of well-known coach and businessman, A.J. “Beast” Stephens. “We have no doubt he’ll do a great job as he
has terrific experience on and off the court.”
A.J. is the Founder/Coach of Beast ‘Em Basketball Training Academy and has coached at MassBay Community College,
Daniel Webster College, The Cambridge School of Weston and also was Basketball Director at Nike Sports Camps.
“We’re looking forward to being a part of the ABA,”added Stephens. “We have not yet named the team because we wanted
the fans in Worcester to suggest names and are running a contest to come up with the best name.” For more information,
