ABA ANNOUNCES NEW ON-LINE MERCHANDISE STORE
Indianapolis, IN.
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced the development of a new on-line merchandise store, abaliveactionstore. “This has been long overdue,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “The demand for ABA team merchandise is great but it has been difficult to find. Under the direction of Joseph Reavis, the store features over 70 product categories and over 100 different items. Right now, merchandise from 25 teams is included, but the list of teams will increase dramatically.
The ABA recently announced that it has delayed the start of the 2020-2021 season from November 7th until Saturday, January 2nd due to Covid-19 and venue availablity. The ABA is the largest professional basketball league in the US with over 175 teams. The regular schedule of games has been shortened from 20 to 16; if all goes well, the Final Eight will be held in Binghamton NY in mid-April.
