ABA ADDS HUB CITY HEAT TO RECORD-SETTING EXPANSION
Indianapolis, IN.
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added the Hub City Heat located in Lubbock TX to its record-setting expansion for the upcoming season which begins January 2nd. “We are very pleased to have Tavien Rosemond as an ABA owner,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “Tav is another example of a former ABA player moving into the ownership role; we’ve had several former ABA players as owners and it is always exciting when one decides to make the move into ownership. And Lubbock is a great city too.”
“We have some of the greatest talent that goes unseen in this area because every player is sweating it out in a back gym somewhere,” added Rosemond. “Our city is in need of something we can fully back that is home grown that will definitely be a force in the community that is trying to transition into a more positive future. I’ve played in a few different places overseas and the US, and we have some talent if afforded an opportunity playing against some of the talent across the ABA might be afforded the same chance to play internationally as I had.”
For more information including tryouts, contact Tav at[email protected]or visitwww.abaliveaction.com.
Thanks, be careful, be safe all.
