Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Boston Eleet has been added to the growing list of expansion teams set to begin play in November 2020.”Actually, it is possible that the team will be ready to begin play as early as January,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “The owner, Keith Lee, is a former ABA player and has preparing for the move to ownership for quite sometime. He’s done a lot of preparation.”
Keith Lee was born and raised in Lynn, MA and graduated from Lynn English High prior to moving onto Worcester Academy and then onto North Shore Community College prior to getting a scholarship to Prairie View A & M University where he help the team to its first ever Conference championship and NCAA tournament bid.
After a brief period in Los Angeles, he returned to Lynn in 2008, played professional basketball and started working with autistic and behavioral children at the elementary and middle school level. “I’m going to make the community proud with a mix of local, national and hopefully international talent,” added Lee. “And we’ll certainly do community service and youth outreach.”For more information, contact [email protected] or visit www.abaliveaction.com.-Thanks.Joe NewmanABA CEO
