LITTLE CHICAGO BOOTLEGGERS SET TO BEGIN PLAY IN 2020

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Little Chicago Bootleggers located in Bristol VA will begin play in November 2020.  “Quite a creative name for a pro basketball team located in the mountains of Virginia,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “The complete story will be posted on the Bootleggers’ website shortly.  Suffice to say, the connection is Al Capone.  Enough said.”
The team is owned by Patrick Grayson who owned an ABA team several years ago.  Patrick also owns the Bristol Prep Academy located in Tricities TN.  The academy plays a predominately nationally ranked schedule throughout the US and has assisted 14 kids to obtain college scholarships in its first two years. The prep team is developing an excellent reputation nationwide.
Grayson has played professionally in the US and Europe including a stint with the NBA’s D-League Anaheim Arsenal and was a Coach at King University.  “Throughout my journey in basketball, my goal has been to help others that share the dream of
playing college basketball and professionally,” added Grayson.  “With the Bristol Prep Academy and now with the Bootleggers,
I am able to achieve both goals.”  For more information, email [email protected] or visit www.abaliveaction.com.
