ABA ADDS LAS VEGASPHARAOHS TO EXPANSIONIndianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced the Las Vegas Pharaohs have been added to its growing list of expansion teams for the upcoming season. “While we have two teams in the LV area already,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman, “Las Vegas is a great city for sports and is large enough to handle a third team and to build a great fan base. The rivalry should be tremendous; sort of like the MGM vs Caesars or the Venetian vs Bellagio.”The team is owned by Trevill Martin, a Las Vega businessman who played basketball for Sierra Vista High School before playing for Pacifica University in Riverside CA where he studied kinesiology and personal training and then a stint in the pros.“I feel that it is time for me to bring my vision to the ABA,” added Martin. “I feel like I can effectively make a huge change in our community. I am a firm believer in community and that’s what the Pharoahs are all about.”For more information, email [email protected]or visitwww.abaliveaction.com.Thanks,Joe
