Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) has added the Central Florida Mix located in the Orlando metro area to its growing list of expansion teams for the 2019-2020 season. “What a great addition to the
ABA,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “A terrific owner in a a great area. I can see nothing but success on and off the court.”
The team is owned by Andy Gines, the Athletics Recruitment Coordinator for Johnson University. A native of Bronx NY, Andy moved to Florida in 1977 and played football and baseball in high school including 3 championship teams. After school, he began a career for over 15 years in retail loss prevention before being hired as Asst Coach for Men’s Soccer at Johnson U, moving onto
