VANCOUVER DRAGONS LATE ENTRY INTO ABA

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Vancouver
Dragons, the 2018 MLBA Champions, has made the switch to the ABA replacing the former ABA
Vancouver Ballholics as the only Canadian team in the ABA. “We are very pleased to be back in Canada,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. “This is an excellent well managed professional organization that will greatly enhance the PacNW Division of the ABA Far West Region.”
The team is owned by West Coast Sports & Entertainment, a Vancouver-based company owned by Robbie Bernard, who also manages various businesses in the area and will serve as President of the Dragons. The team will be playing in the beautiful Richmond Oval. “We are very pleased and proud to be a part of the ABA and are looking forward to bringing exciting ABA basketball back to Vancouver,” added Bernard. “And hopefully we can add another Championship.” For more information, email[email protected]or call Jason Stevens at 778 591 5989 or visitwww.vancouverdragons.comorwww.abaliveaction.com.
