Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Woodbridge Wolves have been added to the league for the upcoming season. “I really believe this is going to be a very successful team both on and off the court,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. “In my many conversations with Raymond Dabney, he seems to have a great understanding of both the game of basketball and the business of basketball and has already done so extraordinary work in developing his organization and team.”
Woodbridge is located in Northern Virginia and will be a part of the new Mid-Atlantic Region. The ABA will be changing its structure from 12 Divisions to 6 Regions to provide better representation for its playoff tournament. Raymond Dabney attended SUNY Morrisville College in New York where he played and then received his degree from Virginia Union University. He is currently a trainer of youth and college athletes. His wife Keyanna, co-owner, is the owner of Dinee Rene Boutique. “We are very thankful for the opportunity to be as part of the ABA and we will work hard to represent our community well,” added
Dabney. For more information, email[email protected]or visitwww.abaliveaction.com.
