MEMPHIS RHYTHM ADDED TO ABA

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Memphis Rhythm
has been added to the league for the upcoming season. “I am especially pleased with this ownership group,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. “Both Winston Banks and Sidney Adkins have been associated as GM’s and coaches for many years in the ABA. Having their own team is long over do and and they will make a great addition to our strong Gulf Coast Division.”
Mr. Adkins is a former Memphis State Tiger from the 80’s Final Four NCAA team and was an All American high school player at Melrose High School in Memphis. “Our organization will be called The Family,” stated Adkins, “bringing back a family atmosphere for our players on and off the court.” Mr. Banks has been involved with the ABA for many years.
