The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released the Power Rankings for the week ending Sunday, January 28th and the Kentucky Enforcers maintained the #1 position with a very slight margin over the defending ABA Champions, the Jacksonville Giants, and the surprising Team Trouble in Stockton CA. “The next month should really be interesting,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. “Quite a few teams vying for the #1 position and a bye to the Final Eight in Austin, TX. Record and strength of schedule will play a big part in determining the #1 team.” 10 games were need to qualify for the Power Rankings.
