PLANO MIGHTY KINGS ADDED TO ABA
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added the Plano Mighty Kings to its growing list of expansion teams for the upcoming season. "Our Southwest Division under the management of Adam Salyer, Division Chairman, is one of the best in the ABA, stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman, "And in the Plano Mighty Kings we've added another excellent team. Very excited about this."
The team will be owned by "Doc" Murphy, a church planter, entrepreneur and business coach. He is currently the lead Pastor of The Place Church in Longview, TX and North City Church in Plano, TX. In addition, Pastor Murphy owns Creative Apostle, a marketing and book publishing company and is the author of several books including Someday is Not a Real Day, Kingdompreneur, Small Church Large Church, Go Fishing, On a Mission, The Greatest Gift, How to Get God to Hear You, Faith, Full Time Behavior, Go Ready Set and Empowered Entrepreneur.
"We are very excited to be a part of the great ABA and are going to do everything we can to be among the best teams on and off the court in the league," added Pastor Murphy.
