IN FIRST ABA POWER RANKINGS

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released the Power Rankings for the first week of the new season which featured a limited number of games over the weekend. "We decided to put all of the winning teams into the first week's rankings," stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman, "so there were quite a few changes. The defending ABA Champion Jacksonville Giants maintained their number one position closed followed by the DMV Warriors who won their first game and are coached by former Giants coach, Kevin Waters."
