ABA ANNOUNCES ABA VIRTUAL VENUE A GIANT STEP FORWARD IN SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced the launch of ABA Virtual Venue, an exciting new platform for watching sports and entertainment. “During the Covid-19 period, sports and entertainment by necessity have performed before no or few fans and it has worked,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “Kevin Dailey, Director of ABA Special Projects and a team of bright, creative people, have created a 360, camera-based sports system, in a virtual hybrid venue that could change the sports and entertainment industry. When you think about it, 18-20,000 people can see an NBA game in person yet millions watch the games on TV or other devices. The ABA Virtual Venue will be one specifically designed to provide the highest level of video catering to the millions who choose to watch events rather than attend them, produced in a dramatic new way to provide the ultimate video experience.
