HIGH DESERT PUMAS SET TO BEGIN ABA PLAY IN NOVEMBER
Indianapolis, IN.
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the High Desert Pumas are set to begin play in November and will be a part of the Far West Region. “The team will be owned by Kevin Dailey who also owns the Inland Empire Emperors,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “Kevin is making quite a mark for himself in his first year of the ABA. A very bright, energetic and creative young man and already a great asset to the league.”
The Head Coach of the Pumas will be Te’onna Ja’da Campbell (Coach Cam), an elite international basketball player and coach. A former University of Houston player, Coach Cam took her talents overseas and played professionally in Algeria, Morocco, Dubai and Australia and is now coaching high school ball and has her own Resilient Basketball Academy.
