BALL WORLD PEACE ADDED TO ABA EXPANSION TEAMS
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that Ball World Peace located in Sacramento, CA will be added to the record-setting expansion for the upcoming season that begins in November. “At least, we’re preparing to begin in November,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “The country needs exciting professional basketball at affordable prices, and that is what the ABA has always delivered. With over 175 teams in the ABA, there will certainly be a lot of opportunities. We’re eager to get rolling but will always opt on the side of our health experts.”
Ball World Peace is the creation of Brian Parker and promotes world peace through basketball. Brian is a former ABA player who played for 4 different teams and also played at Holy Names University. “I’m very excited to be bringing the ABA back to the area,” added Parker. “I love the business world and I love being successful in it.” He has competed in dunk contests for Sprite and the NBA and for ESPN City Slam.
