ABA CANCELS REMAINDER OF SEASON

ABA CANCELS REMAINDER OF SEASON
Indianapolis, IN.
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has cancelled the remainder of the 2019-2020 season which will include the Final Eight, ABA Championship Game and ABA All Star Game scheduled to be played in Binghamton NY in mid-April. “These are difficult times indeed,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “But the health concerns of fans, players, coaches, personnel are far more important as all sports leagues, entertainment and other industries take these measures to fight the spread of the coronavirus. This will pass.
We will get back to normal if people follow the sage advice of health experts and do those things that will reduce risk to themselves and others. We fully expect to begin playing again in the fall.”
