Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added the Scottsdale Titans to its record-setting expansion for the 2020 season. “There’s no doubt about it, the ABA is growing rapidly because we have the best business model in professional sports and it is easier to own and operate an ABA team than any other,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “And in the husband and wife team of Malika and William Murphy IV, we have tremendous new owners.”
Malika has been in leadership for over 25 years with a strong emphasis on customer service. William is a Global Marketing Strategist and business consultant for over 10 years. The couple has a 501c3 not for profit organization called “Couponing for the Less Fortunate Inc” that provides services to help less fortunate and homeless. The couple also have an artist development and talent management firm called “Murphy IV Productions, LLC that develops up and coming new artists by teaching them all aspects of the business. “We are very excited to be a part of the ABA,” added The Murphy’s. “It is a great league and we are going to work hard to make the Scottsdale Titans one of the best teams in the ABA on and off the court.” For more
