Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the North Texas Prowlers have joined the league and will begin play when the season starts in early November. “We are very pleased and excited about having theProwlers as part of the ABA,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “The team has proven itself both on and off the court and has won championships in several other leagues. They should be a very strong addition to the South West Division.”

The team is owned by Heath Tipton and will serve the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Colby Collatt will handle the business operations of the team while Heath handles the basketball side. “We’re very excited to be joining the ABA,” added Collatt. “Heath and I are confident that we will represent Dallas-Fort Worth well and provide exciting basketball and entertainment to thecommunities.”
