Indianapolis, IN.  The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its Power Rankings through Sunday, December 9th and the Syracuse Stallions held the #1 position by the slightest margin over the San Francisco City Cats. “The competition is fierce for the number one position,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. “These teams are really good and now, the defending ABA Champion, Jacksonville Giants, have started their season.  It should be a battle to the finish.”  It took 5 games to qualify for the Power Rankings.
