NASSAU PRIDE ADDED TO 2019 ABA EXPANSION

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced another addition to its 2019 roster of teams, the Nassau Pride located in Nassau County, Florida. “The Southeast Division is one of the league’s strongest,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. “And the addition of the Nassau Pride should make it even stronger; an excellent ownership group with experience on and off the court.”
The Nassau Pride was founded by Darrin Eakins and Dr. Jeremy Coleman, with a stated mission to provide a new level of sports and entertainment to Nassau County and the surrounding Florida communities. “The Nassau Pride focuses on strong community involvement through enrichment and development programs,” added Eakins. “We represent more than five of Florida’s northern most cities, bringing together a diverse group of sports fans from around the community as we are the county’s first professional sports team. We’re looking forward to being a part of the ABA.”
