Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added the Albuquerque Bull Snakes to its rapidly-growing list of expansion teams for the 2019 season. “We have not had a team in New Mexico for many years,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. “It is great to be back, a terrific fit for our Far West Division, and we are fortunate to have a strong owner in Nick Lourenco.
Nick is a seasoned Human Resource Officer who is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He studied Automation Systems Engineering at the prestigious Jose A.Echeverria University in Havana and has been in human resources for a number of companies in the US and internationally. He currently works as Director of Human Resources at Home Instead Senior Care, a Global Senior Care Corporation. “Good people make good businesses,” added Lourenco. “I hope to bring to the Bull Snakes a fabulous group of people with diverse backgrounds to help make our team one of the best in the ABA on and off the court.”
