Indianapolis, IN.  The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added the

Ohio Kings to its growing list of expansion teams for the 2019 season.  “We had record-setting expansion for the upcoming season,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman.  “And now it appears that we’re on pace to exceed that next year.  Very exciting indeed.”
The Kings will be owned by a trio of owners including Kevin L. Aldridge, a pastor, coach, entrepreneurand motivational speaker who has helped many people overcome everyday life challenges for nearly 20 years.  A graduate of Middletown High School in Middletown OH, he has a bachelor’s degree in Sports Ministry from Campbellsville University where he played basketball and track before playing basketball professionally in Ecuador and Trinidad for Athletes in Action.  He  Aldridge also has a diploma in radio, tV, and film  and currently can be heard on his show Inspiration AM on 1050/103.1 FM in Cincinnati.
Aldridge is CEO and Co-Founder of Kingdom Vision Outreach that specializes in character development of youth and serves as Head Girls Basketball Coach for Middletown High School.
Owner two is Kelven Moss who is beginning his third season as Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Miami University Hamilton.  A graduate of Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN with a BS Degree in Physical Education and Health followed by a Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University in Irvine, CA.  He has coached at the high school level for 10 years and has spent the last three years as a Placement Specialist at Marshall HIgh School in Middletown OH. He is VP of Kingdom Vision Outreach.
 Owner three is Kevin S. Aldridge, a Middletowen OH native and veteran journalist with more than 20
years experience in the news media, now the Opinion Editor for the Cincinnati Enquirer and Cincinnati.com as well as a senior pastor of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Milford, OH.
A graduate of Middletown High School and Wittenburg University in Springfield OH, he is also adjunct professor of Journalism at Miami University’s Oxford Regional campuses and VPof Kingdom Vision Outreach.
“Kevin, Kelvin and I have a passion for mentoring and coaching to develop, connect and motivate others to become champions for life,” added Kevin L.  “We focus on youth to coordinate and facilitate group-mentoring programs that will promote strong character andhelp each student to manage personal and social conflict effectively.  We believe our ABA team will be a valuable part of our overall program and are looking forward to the challenge.”
