Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added the New Jersey Nationals to its growing list of expansion teams for next season. Located in Washington NJ, the team will compete in the Northeast Division. “The is our second team in New Jersey,” stated Joe Newman, ABA co-founder, “joining the Jersey Express, the ABA’s oldest team. Tjuan Washington, ABA Media and Entertainment, will be one of the co-owners.”
The other co-owner who will serve as VP & Director of Operations, is Arealus Lee, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he majored in Business, and a former ABA player for both the Providence Anchors and the Steel City Yellow Jackets.
