Chicago Knights Convert to Full ABA Team

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Chicago Knights, formerly a traveling team playing only away games, will convert to a full member ABA team starting in January and will play a limited schedule of home games this season. “We’re very pleased that David Johnson, the Knights’ owner made this decision. A very good addition to the ABA. David is an entepreneur, coach, mentor, motivator and community activist.”
A native of Chicago, with over 20 years coaching experience within the communities on the southside and westside, he firmly believes that “to whom much is given, much is required.” David’s purpose, passion and dedication to mentoring, teaching and coaching youths and young adults came naturally to him.
In 2012, he established the Team ALL BALL Organization, that provided an opportunity to allow youths to develop and grow in a structured environment. In 2015, he served as Asst Coach for the ABA Chicago Fury prior to establishing the Chicago Knights traveling team. For more information, email[email protected]or visitwww.abaliveaction.com.
