Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) has announced that the 2017-2018 ABA All Star Game has been awarded to Pittsburgh PA and will be hosted by the Steel City Yellow Jackets. “We’re very pleased to be bringing the game to Pittsburgh. “Ace” Pippen, the owner of the Yellow Jackets has been doing a great job there, has build up a large and loyal fan base and should make the All Star Game very special,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. “Working closely with Tjuan “Benefactor” Washington, ABA CEO of Media & Entertainment and a team owner, both Tjuan and Ace have pledged to make it a very exciting event which will include entertainment as well as basketball.”
“We are very pleased and honored to be selected to host the ABA All Star Game,” added Pippen. Tjuan and I are going to work very hard to make it the best ABA All Star Game ever and we have lots of exciting things planned. We’re aiming for the weekend following the ABA Final Eight in Austin in mid-April and will be posting complete details on the Yellow Jackets website (www.steelcityyellowjackets.com) shortly.” Complete information about tickets and the event agenda will be included.
