ABA RETURNS TO PROVIDENCE RI
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the league is returning to Providence RI after a two-year hiatus with the addition of the Providence Pats. “We are very pleased to be back on Rhode Island,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman, “and in Mitchell Barionette, along with ABA CEO of Media and Entertainment, we have two excellent owners with great business, entertainment and basketball backgrounds.”
Mitchell Barionette is a 28-year old Providence native of Haitian and Caribbean descent. A Barney School opf Business graduate with a degree in Business Management and Administration, he is currently CEO of Certified Records and Entertainment Worldwide LLC and also CFO at the City Brand LLC. His company, C.R.E.W is managing several rising star artists, promotors, models and DJs. “Tjuan and I are really excited about this venture,” added Barionette. “We are going to fuse exciting entertainment with top quality professional basketball to provide the fans with a great evening at very affordable prices. Should be fun.”
