ABA ANNOUNCES FIRST EXPANSION TEAM OF NEW YEAR
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced its first expansion team for the new year, “the first of many,” stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. “Last year had record-setting expansion, it looks like this year will be the same, and we are delighted to have Abraham Muheize and his new team in El Cajon CA as part of the ABA.”
Abe is a Palestinian-American entrepreneur, born and raised in El Cajon and on Oct 27, 2016 was inducted into the El Cajon Valley High School Hall of Fame. He was an All American football player who set multiple San Diego Section records as a quarterback and set a California state record with 5,252 all purpose yards in a single season.
After college and playing football at Grossmont College, Montana State University and Central Washington University, he has been involved in solar, sales, raising capital, marketing, social media marketing, and philanthgropy.
In March 2016, he started ECV United which is an alumni association that raises money for El Cajon Valley High School. “I am ready and excited to put an ABA team in El Cajon,” stated Muheize. “This will help me continue my dreams of changing this community for the better.”
