Team co-owner Antonio “Tony Spades” Speights said, “We loved our West Virginia fans and the opportunity we had to bring pro basketball to the area and we want to thank them for their support.  But we had a great opportunity in Monroe and we are looking ahead to the future.  We want to build our team to be among the elite in the ABA.”
Lajuana Logan, a resident of Monroe, will be assuming the responsibility of team operations.  “These are some exciting times for us; Monroe is a great place, Louisiana is a great place, God is good.”  Another co-owner if Tjuan Benefactor, CEO of ABA Media and Entertainment. “We promise top give the fans plenty of entertainment value including game promotions, a professional dance team, as well as exciting basketball play on the floor,” added Benefactor.  “We will be playing our home games at the 7600 seat Monroe Civic Center.
