JERSEY EXPRESS TOPS ABA POWER RANKINGS FOR FIRST TIME
Indianapolis, IN. The Jersey Express, the ABA’s oldest team, topped the ABA Power Rankings in week number three of the season replacing the Jacksonville Giants. “This season, we have the oddity of a staggered start with a new format featuring two conferences,” stated ABA Co-founder Joe Newman. “As a result, several strong teams have not yet begun their season. We made the decision to count only teams that had started beginning with this week’s Power Rankings; the remainder of the teams will begin play next weekend. As a result, traditional powerhouses like the Jacksonville Giants, Chicago Steam, Colorado Kings, Arizona Scorpions are not listed this week, but will be very soon.”
