Indianapolis, IN.  The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org andwww.abaliveaction.com today announced that the Baltimore Hawks will host the 2015-2016 All Star Game in mid-April following the Final Four playoffs.  “Greg Brown and the Hawks did a fabulous job in their first season and we anticipate another great year,” stated Tom Chichester, ABA VP  of Operations and All Star Game Site Selection Chairman.  “They are putting together a fabulous weekend of activities and were the majority choice of the Selection Committee.  We are looking forward to an exciting All Star Game.”
“We are going to introduce a new format for this All Star Game,” continued Chichester, “sort of modeled after the NFL All Star Game.  The coaches of the top 2 ABA teams will select their teams from a roster of 28 players nominated by the ABA Executive Committee and the ABA Division Chairmen.  It should be a very exciting competitive game.”
