South Florida Gold High School Internship Program

Are you studying Sports Management, Sports Marketing, Community Affairs, Press/Media, Photography?  Here’s a way to get community service hours and enjoy the fun and excitement of professional basketball too

Florida’s New Professional ABA Basketball Team Has Arrived. “South Florida Gold” is the newest American Basketball Association Professional Team in Florida. We need your help with informing and entertaining our fans! South Florida Gold is currently seeking interns in the following areas:

 

Public Relations

l        Assisting with covering all operations of SFl Gold on social media

l        Assist with posting logos and flyers

l        Assisting with developing and writing approved press releases

 

Game Day Media

l        Assist head photographer during games

l        Supervise execution of interviews

l        Take high quality video or photos during games

l        Ability to archive and edit images

l        Collaborating with social media team on their needs

Game Day Operations

l        Set-up of table locations, signage, handouts, etc. and tear down after the game

l         Implementation of on-court promotions

l         Coordinate event logistics for national anthem and color guard participants as well as group performances

l        Assisting the Dance team

l        Assisting in half time games, raffles, and other activities

Sales

l        Assist in the creation of e-mail campaigns, on line promotion

l        Prepare presentations

l        Provide support to social media efforts

l        Be able to bring people in !

We are looking for a part time intern who can’t wait to use their skills for something meaningful while having fun! Being able to help us with projects to broaden our fan base and increase our impact in the world of basketball is what we are looking for.

Minimum Requirements

–       High School Diploma or currently enrolled in a University

–       Education in Sports Management or related fields

–       Internship can be used for college credit or service hours
